Dr. Robert Sumner passed away in December 2016. The Biblical Evangelist newspaper is no longer being published and the ministry of Biblical Evangelism has ceased operation.

The remaining inventory of his books and gospel tracts was transferred to The Baptist Tabernacle of Los Angeles and may be ordered here.

A 43-year-old teacher’s aide, Brenda Nichol, was fired by her school district in Indiana County (PA) for wearing a cross at the bottom of her necklace. She was charged with violating a rule against wearing religious garb.

Really?

Some of the most ungodly people in America wear crosses to work as part of their jewelry; they just think it is pretty. There was a day when cross jewelry was a symbol of faith in Christ. That day has long gone, although in this case it was a symbol of Brenda’s faith. Public schools pass out condoms and abortion information, but won’t permit cross jewelry. The American Center for Law and Justice is trying to get her job back for her.
